Faith over Fear!

Can we talk about Fear for a minute?

So One of my biggest challenges is public speaking, now in high school and college I’d be in programs singing, dancing the whole shebang, but please don’t ask me to get up in a front of people and talk that’s just nottttttt me 😩. Well I thought it wasn’t me until I was told that I’d have to be doing that’s completely out of my comfort zone.

I find it so funny we ask God to use us and whatever he wants us to say we’ll say and whatever he wants us to do we’ll do, but when we are presented with the moment or opportunity we instantly have fear or question him for exactly what we asked him for! I’m talking too loud for myself right now 😭anyway this was me all week when I found out this was my month to pray at church, and I know some people will say “girl that’s nothing” but chilee its like saying God you can have all of me except for my comfort zone. I was listening to a song this morning No Limits and the song was talking about asking God for a new anointing, breakthrough, and basically asking God to do more in his life, he wanted to be used, and I was just singing my heart out cause I could relate, but I got checked real quick cause God is just like you crying about being used and want a breakthrough but what about what I’m asking you to do? This is all apart of the process, Can we say heart check sweetie 😶

I’m saying all this to say 2 Timothy 1:7 is real and needs to be applied DAILY, Once I got up there and started praying I was still a little nervous but God gave me exactly what to say and comforted me the whole time. I was literally thinking what was i so afraid of? If God has called you to do something he is going to be there every step of the way, faith and fear is something that a lot of us battle with,but we don't openly deal with. I just want to encourage you, if your having a tough time dealing with something God has called you to know that he's never going to call you and leave you to figure it all out on your own, its the time for you to seek him like never before, he wants your time and attention and the only way to get you there is to put you in a position that you have no choice but to run to help and ask him where to go and how to move next! Now can i get up there and preach a whole sermon? No Ma'am but I know that something that i thought i was not qualified to do and something i was very afraid to do, was done and conquered with the help of God! Faith over Fear.
