Hey sis hey,

Can y'all believe it has been 1 WHOLE year of Beautifully and Wonderfully Made, I'm a ball of emotions, this blog post is for anyone that may feel as if they don't have what it takes to walk in their calling, anyone that has outsiders that you have to look a certain way to do ministry, not only ministry but anything you are passionate about, if God called you to it, he will equip you with everything to fulfill his purpose, so when they say you need this certain amount of education or you need to be like this person, or have this or that tell them there is no such thing, calling is calling, oil is oil, people tend to try to get you to dim your light or water down your oil because they don't know how to operate in theirs don't allow them to stop you from your purpose, wether its family, friends, it doesn't matter. Lets look at some scripture:

Acts 26: 16-18MSG

But now, up on your feet—I have a job for you. I’ve handpicked you to be a servant and witness to what’s happened today, and to what I am going to show you.

17-18 “‘I’m sending you off to open the eyes of the outsiders so they can see the difference between dark and light, and choose light, see the difference between Satan and God, and choose God. I’m sending you off to present my offer of sins forgiven, and a place in the family, inviting them into the company of those who begin real living by believing in me.’

I want to highlight the word "HANDPICKED" and get into verses 17-18

Wether you want to believe it or not you have been hand picked to do what God has called you to do. As long as you are planted in HIM he'll give you everything you need to walk in the calling he gave you.

Acts 26:28-29MSG

28 But Agrippa did answer: “Keep this up much longer and you’ll make a Christian out of me!”

29 Paul, still in chains, said, “That’s what I’m praying for, whether now or later, and not only you but everyone listening today, to become like me—except, of course, for this prison jewelry!”

Look at Pauls heart to the people, how passionate he was, people want to hear your story, hear your cry and heart for christ, when they hear that passion you have for christ, they are more likely to listen and receive what you have to say about christ, let your calling be your story, walk in your story you are a living and breathing testimony to the goodness of christ.

John 15:16MSG

16 “You didn’t choose me, remember; I chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won’t spoil. As fruit bearers, whatever you ask the Father in relation to me, he gives you.

"YOUR DIDN'T CHOOSE ME" "I CHOSE YOU"

Exodus 3:13-15

13 Then Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the People of Israel and I tell them, ‘The God of your fathers sent me to you’; and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ What do I tell them?” 14 God said to Moses, “I-AM-WHO-I-AM. Tell the People of Israel, ‘I-AM sent me to you.’” 15 God continued with Moses: “This is what you’re to say to the Israelites: ‘God, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob sent me to you.’ This has always been my name, and this is how I always will be known.

I think you can see where I'm going here, these are just a couple scriptures showcasing God calling HIS people, to carry out HIS plans in this world, he chooses and equips us for the things he's called us to do, so when people say you aren't qualified tell them There is no such thing, because "my bible saysssss" period.

Cole Therapy says it best " You've been sovereignly selected" God selected you, choose you, equipped you, don't allow people that did not create or call you to determine what you'll do in this world. Let's learn to continue to listen to the voice of God and allow him to lead us. Also we have to stop being our own critics, we are also the reason we don't step into what we've been called to do because we don't feel like we are qualified enough, I am a living live example of doubting myself and scared to walk in what I've been gifted to do, I've learned to fully surrender and rely on the holy spirit to lead me and guide me into purpose, I'm praying the same for you sis.

Beautifully And Wonderfully Made was a vision God gave me and if I wasn't obedient to him and listened to what I thought I was qualified to do, we wouldn't be here right now celebrating 1 year, I opened this box of journals and immediately became overwhelmed by what God is doing through B&WM and me I began to just start worshipping him because I could've never imagined any of this would come to fruition without him, not only is he working through the brand but working through me, he's canceling out every fear I had/have of not being perfect to do what I've been called to do, he has been calling me to see myself as he see's me and once I started to listen to him and not my fears, I can't go back and allow my fears to stop what God needs me to do.
